week 2

not much crafting has gone on lately. i really just don't have time, even though i would like to be doing nothing more than sitting in my sunroom making art.  my students asked me today if all i do is make art (because i said i don't like "american idol")  i WISH all i did was make art. but alas...

so this is my 2nd week in my weight loss plan. i was pretty disappointed that i didn't lose more than i did, but since i used to be a fitness instructor, i know better than to rely on the scale. my clothes fit a little better, so at this point that is what matters to me.  i was given several boxes of protein drinks i have to drink all the time. i didn't realize this particular program was going to be so involved. i think it will be good in the long run though, because it focuses on eating healthier.  unfortunately hardly any of the foods i like are on the list of foods i can have. however, that won't seem so important when i'm lounging on the beach in my two piece. right? right?!

i have still yet to make a sale on etsy, by the way. not that i really do this with the intent of selling it, but it would be nice to have someone interested enough to purchase...

day one

day one of my the medical weight loss solution plan.  if i stick with it exactly as it has been laid out, i could lose the weight i want in just 3 or 4 months.

the only drawback so far is how EXCRUCIATING the area where the shot went in is.  it feels better over night, but oh my god. it burned and ached all night long. i hope i don't have to deal with this for the next few months.

i am going to need some serious moral support during this time. i'm going to be making major lifestyle changes and eating food that i don't particularly want all the time, but if it gets me back into a bathing suit, then i am going to give it my all!

monday is not a funday.

a month away from the craft show and I AM NOT READY! i wish i had more time in the day, but man. after a long day of teaching, driving home 30 minutes, and trying to just relax for a minute, i am too tired to do any of my own art.  i guess it's pretty satisfying that i am responsible for teaching about 140 little artists every day, right? :)

hope everyone's crafting is coming along nicely!  i am overwhelming myself with ideas. 

oh and by the way, i am very obsessed with these...
